Year-ender 2021: Television stars who passed away this year

Famous television and film actor Sidharth Shukla passed away at the age of 40 on September 02, 2021. A heart attack was reported to be the reason behind his sudden demise.

Sidharth Shukla was the winner of 'Bigg Boss 13' and was a part of famous TV show 'Balika Vadhu' and was also seen in Bollywood film 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.'

Veteran actress Surekha Sikri passed away at the age of 75 due to a cardiac arrest on July 16, 2021.

Surekha Sikri, who was a National Award-winning theatre, film and television actress, was also known for films such as 'Badhaai Ho' and TV shows like 'Balika Vadhu.'

'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' fame Nattu Kaka aka actor Ghanshyam Nayak passed away on October 03, 2021 following a long battle with cancer. He was 77 years old.

Ghanshyam Nayak had acted in more than 100 Gujarati and Hindi films. He starred in over 350 television shows. He was also known for his roles in shows like 'Khichdi' and 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.'

Popular Gujarati and Hindi film and TV actor Amit Mistry passed away after suffering a major cardiac arrest on April 23, 2021 . He was 47.

Amit had appeared in TV shows like 'Tenali Rama,' 'Ssshhhh…Koi Hai' and 'Woh' among many others.

Film and TV actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal died due to coronavirus-related complications on May 01, 2021. He was 52.

After retiring from the Indian Army, Bikramjeet Kanwarpal made his acting debut in early 2000. Apart from films like 'Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year,' 'Aarakshan,' 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' and 'The Ghazi Attack,' he was also seen in television shows like '24,' 'Adaalat,' 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' and 'Yeh Hai Chahatein.'
