Shaheer Sheikh and Ruchikaa Kapoor tie the knot; throwback pictures go viral

TV hunk Shaheer Sheikh, who enjoys a huge fan following on social media, tied the knot with his fiancé Ruchikaa Kapoor. According to reports, the couple had a court marriage a few days back. Reportedly, the traditional marriage ceremony will be held in June 2021. Ruchikaa Kapoor is the head of Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms' films division. Some sources revealed that the newly married couple first flew down to Jammu to meet Sheikh's parents, followed by another small function at Ruchikaa's Mumbai residence. Earlier, Shaheer had expressed his feelings for Ruchikaa while giving an interview. "Being an actor, I have to pretend in front of the camera all the time, but I have found a partner with whom I get to be myself. I’ve always said that I’m a ‘wanderer’ and I’ve finally found the right companion. I am looking forward to my never-ending travels with her," he said. Ruchikaa also said that she likes Shaheer's 'simplicity and honesty'. "We may make little sense to the world, but we make a lot of sense to each other," Kapoor exclaimed during her interview.
