At least 16 people were killed and several were injured in a mass shooting incident in Canada's Nova Scotia province. The police said that the suspected gunman disguised as a police officer went on a shooting rampage. He was identified as Gabriel Wortman, 51, who was thought to live part-time in Portapique. Several bodies were found inside and outside a residence in the small town of Portapique, about 100 km north of Halifax. He also set ablaze several homes in the area. Earlier, the police had announced that they had arrested the gunman at a gas station in Enfield, outside Halifax. But, later the police claimed that he had died. However, the police didn't clear how the suspect died. RCMP spokesman Daniel Brien confirmed that 16 people were killed in addition to the suspect, the CBC reported.
