RRR success party: Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Palak Tiwari, Huma Qureshi & other stars dress up for the grand event

'RRR', starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR is breaking many records at the box office ever since the film was released in theatres on March 25, 2022. Rajamouli's latest period action drama has so far reportedly collected Rs 1000 crore at the global box office. This is the filmmaker's third consecutive blockbuster after ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ and its sequel, ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’. To celebrate this special occasion, a star-studded success party was organised at Sahara Star in Mumbai on April 06, 2022. The success press event was hosted by Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, which acquired the north India theatrical rights and all languages digital and satellite rights for ‘RRR’. Celebrities like superstar Aamir Khan, filmmaker Karan Johar, veteran lyricist-screenwriter Javed Akhtar, actress Shweta Tiwari, Huma Qureshi, Johnny Lever, Satish Kaushik, Jeetendra, Javed Akhtar, Ayan Mukerji, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Makarand Deshpande and many other A-listers from the entertainment industry marked their presence. Produced by D V V Entertainment, the film was released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages. The film's Hindi version alone has reportedly collected close to Rs 200 cr at the box office. ‘RRR’ also features Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in key roles. For the unversed, RRR narrates a fictional tale of the lives of freedom fighters and their fight against British rule. The character of Komaram Bheem is played by Jr NTR and Alluri Sitarama Raju played by Ram Charan. It is set in 1920 when both the revolutionaries went into oblivion before they start their fight against British rule.
