Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar unveiled the new logo and certificate design of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) at a launch event, which was organised at BKC in Mumbai. The launch event was also attended by Secretary of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Amit Khare, and CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi. A host of celebrities including Vidya Balan, Kangana Ranaut, Satish Kaushik, Madhur Bhandarkar, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Boney Kapoor, Ramesh Sippy, Subhash Ghai, Sudhir Mishra, Sanjay Khan, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Prahlad Kakkar, Kiran Shantaram, Kunal Kohli and many others attended the event.
