Bhumi Pednekar took to the streets for the first-ever global climate strike, which was inspired by 16-year-old Swedish environment activist Greta Thunberg. Around 2,500 Mumbaikars of various age groups stepped out to raise awareness regarding the issue. Millions of people from over 150 countries, including India, are holding strikes to create awareness about the adverse effects of climate change and send out a message about the same to the leaders across the world.
