Vimi made her debut in B.R. Chopra's Hamraaz in 1967 and rose to stardom in quick time. However, after her separation with husband Shiv Agarwal, things took turn for worse and Vimi was left with no money or emotional support. She spent her last few days in the general ward of Nanavati Hospital. She was in her thirties when she died in 1977. well as 16 medals at the National Games. But after losing a leg in an accident,
his life went on a downward spiral. He died in utter poverty in 2002 and his
