Talking about her lockdown experience, Akansha once said in an interview, “During the lockdown, I found a lot of time and I wanted to try something creative, so I took to painting. I would paint every single day and the feedback for them started coming in. People really loved the canvases. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the artworks came out, myself. Someone then suggested that I auction the paintings so that the proceeds would go to charity and I thought, ‘Why not go for it!’ It’s a good feeling to be able to do something like this to help another person.”
