Domestic violence: Poonam Pandey patches up with husband Sam Bombay

Bollywood actress Poonam Pandey grabbed the headlines when she filed an FIR against her husband Sam Bombay over domestic violence in Goa. Sam Bombay was arrested by the Goa police and later released on bail. Sam deleted the all pictures of his marriage with Poonam shared on social media. But it seems the couple patched up and now all is well between them. Sam once again shared a marriage picture with wife Poonam Pandey. Earlier, Poonam Pandey filed an FIR against her husband Sam Bombay at South Goa's Canacona police station on September 22, 2020. In the FIR filed under Sections 323, 504, 354 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code, the actress has alleged that the accused Sam Ahmed Bombay,her spouse, had assaulted and slapped her besides threatening her with dire consequences over a "personal dispute". Sam Bombay was arrested in Goa. The incident happened in Canacona village in south Goa where Poonam Pandey is shooting for a film, said an official. "Pandey filed a complaint late Monday night claiming her husband Sam Bombay had molested her, and threatened her with dire consequences after assaulting her. He was arrested," Inspector Tukaram Chavan of Canacona police station said. The victim was subjected to mandatory medical tests, he added. The duo were married in September, 2020 and both are on a visit to Goa on a holiday. While sharing candid wedding pictures, Poonam Pandey wrote, "Here's looking forward to seven lifetimes with you.” Sam Bombay, too, posted a picture. "The beginning of forever," he wrote. The couple got engaged in July.
