Alia Bhatt's family and friends threw a vivacious party for the actress on her 27th birthday. Pictures of Alia cutting two cakes at midnight has gone viral on social media. The 'Gully Boy' star was joined by sister Shaheen Bhatt and friends Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Meghna Goyal. To make the day more special, Alia's mother Soni Razdan wrote a heartfelt birthday message for her daughter on Instagram, "Happy Birthday my baby girl ! To me this is how you will always feel. A sweet little baby that I need to look after and make sure your life is going as per plan. Of course these days I am not required to look after you much and that’s as it should be. But once a mother as they say .... all I wish for you is to stay safe and healthy particularly in these days of health anxiety. So this year my birthday wish is all tied up with good health !" On the work front, Alia Bhatt is filming 'Brahmastra' directed by Ayan Mukerji with co-star and boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. Alia has also signed Karan Johar's multi starrer film 'Takht', in which she will share screen space with big names like Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal and Janhvi Kapoor.
