COVID-19: Poonam Pandey arrested for violating lockdown, see pictures

Poonam Pandey, who has been making headlines with her photoshoots, is in news again. If reports are to be believed then Poonam Pandey was booked by Mumbai Police on May 10, 2020 for violating the coronavirus lockdown norms. An FIR was registered against the actress along with her boyfriend by the Marine Drive Police. According to a police official, she was found roaming in her high-end car at Marine Drive without any reason. Senior police inspector Mrityunjay Hiremath told PTI, “A case has been registered against Pandey and Sam Ahmad Bombay (46) under sections 269 (Negligent act likely to spread infection of a disease dangerous to life) and 188 (Disobedience of order duly promulgated by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and under provisions of the National Disaster Act.” The police has also seized her car. Actress Poonam Pandey is known for her work in Bollywood and Telugu industry. Poonam, who was seen in the movie ‘Nasha’, has also featured in ‘The Journey of Karma’, ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ and several others. (All photos: Instagram)
